In a decision issued by the judiciary today, Russia has decided to block access to a site LinkedIn, where the social network violated state laws related to store data, and thus was the ban.
The case began as little more than a year, after Russia passed a law forcing all multinational companies to store Russian user data on local servers. The aim is to maintain the protection of citizens and their data.
However, LinkedIn did not comply with legal requirements, thus eliminating decided to ban the site from all Internet service providers in Russia within 24 hours. I tried to act in a social network the fastest time by an e-mail message to the Russian authorities asking for a meeting as soon as possible. But Russia insisted on the ban but accepted the meeting held two weeks from now.
This is the first case of the site is being charged and blocked non-compliance with the law, but not the last, where the Russian government has threatened to take the same action against Facebook and Twitter if you do not they respond to the new requirements.
